I’m Rev. Chris Neikirk, senior pastor of Trinity Church. Folks call me Pastor Chris, but I’ll answer to just about anything. I attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, and was ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church in 2015 by Bishop Michael Coyner. I have served churches in Evansville and Princeton, and since 2018, I have had the pleasure of leading and serving the people of Trinity Church in New Albany. I have been married to my wife, Dolli, for 16 years and together we have five adult daughters, three sons-in-law, one granddaughter, and two canine kids. For fun, I like to cook, play golf, travel, and ride my Harley Davidson motorcycle. I am far from perfect and the greatest shock of my life is that God would call an imperfect person like me to serve Him in His Church. As an extrovert, I genuinely love people and place a high value on relationships. I have a passion for preaching and teaching and feel blessed to be able to walk with people through all phases of life; the good, the bad, and the in between. I am an unapologetic Old Testament junkie and at the moment, my favorite verse is Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew (or chose) you; before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” I wholeheartedly believe all life is sacred as we were all created in the image of God, that God reaches out to all of us desiring an intimate relationship, and then calls us to share our story of hope with others. I unapologetically believe that Jesus Christ is the hope of the world.
