|Scripture reading:||Romans 7: 15-25a|
|Delivered by:||Pastor Bill Shannon, senior pastor.|
Paul’s letter to the Romans is a 1st century letter to the 21st century world. The words of Paul express the Christian faith as a grace filled and transforming power of God to save a broken world. Paul sets forth to clearly state that humanity cannot fix that which sin has destroyed. Humans cannot transform themselves by the keeping of laws or practicing religious ritual. God is the power. God is the savior. God is the life giver. Christ followers can be transformed from broken and divided people. Christ in us is our hope for change, reconciliation and evangelism.
The sermon series for July, August and September will cover the Letter to the Romans, chapters 7-16. You are encouraged to read the entire letter and follow along as we study these chapters together. Come, experience the transforming power of God and that we shall serve as Christ’s followers to bring healing and reconciliation to a broken world.
